We are buoyed by what we have learned from the insights in this report, some interesting statistics show improved optimism, but the completion for talent among employers in this sector is being widely felt:

• Recruitment is high on the agenda with a 59% increase in the number of people hired in the sector in 2022.
• When it comes to sourcing talent, Indeed has been the biggest source of hires for healthcare employers (61%), followed by careers pages (20%), and LinkedIn (8%) with September being the busiest month for hospitality hires
• Job openings are very busy for hospitality companies with nearly a 6% increase this year, we also saw a jump of over a quarter in the rate of jobs listed to filled
• Applicant numbers have jumped by over 43% this year
